Place buttery chicken in a slow cooker, but wait until you add this lemon-garlic sauce on top

This is a great “set it and forget it” recipe that will make your life so much easier. Let’s face it: our lives are constantly changing, and there isn’t always time to make dinner for the family. Fortunately, the slow cooker was invented, and it’s a great way to cook delicious meals with minimal effort.

Take this lemon garlic chicken recipe. It takes about 15-20 minutes of prep time but once done, you can leave it in the slow cooker and enjoy it anytime you’d like. No matter when you enjoy this, it will always taste like a fresh-made meal.

  • 2 tbsps unsalted butter
  • 2 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 garlic cloves

Heat unsalted butter in a large nonstick skillet.

Add chicken. Cook until the chicken is browned. Please

Once fully cooked, transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.

Place water, lemon juice, and chicken bouillon granules to the same skillet. Then add the garlic cloves. Bring this mixture to a boil.

Pour the mixture on top of the chicken in the slow cooker. Cook on the low setting for 4-5 hours.

Enjoy with a side of rice!
